WHY BUY BLACK AND WHITE PRINTS? As Photography's digital revolution speeds ahead catapulting the craft into a new era of visual media, a curious side effect has been an energetic interest from art buyers and private collectors in purchasing fine art traditional Black and White prints. Their reasoning is simple: as traditional Black and White photography is replaced, it is being pushed into a higher more valuable art form. Prescient collectors have cited the dual opportunity of purchasing a stunning image, while making a prudent investment for the future. ABOUT BLACK AND WHITE PRINTS All prints are hand printed in the darkroom using traditional methods. Many prints lacking the appropriate mood and quality are discarded until the right print is achieved. The high quality gelatin silver prints are printed on rich - fiber based paper, to exacting gallery standards. Because each print is printed in a traditional way, each print will vary slightly, therefore making it a unique acquisition. The beauty of traditional darkroom printing is no two prints will ever be exactly the same. Please contact the photographer, JACK PICONE at jack@jackpicone.com for relevant details. LIMITED EDTION As part of a limited edition series all prints will be numbered on the front side signed (in pencil). Also on the reverse side of the image will be a brief account describing the events when the photograph was authored. The edition will run from one to fifteen. As the series begins to sell out completely there will be an incremental increase in the price of each print. Please contact photographer JACK PICONE at jack@jackpicone.com for more information.
